In it's creation

When I was working on this site and/or project, I have been telling a number of people a lot of things. Most of these individuals wanted different positions on this project I have been working on. Some of them I will be able to carry through with and others I will not be able to.
Life is tough and I have not put that or anything in writing, so it is not that big of a deal.
But one thing I am going to follow is not giving anyone any second chances. This is a lesson I have been having to fight over the past number of years. When I simply can not afford to be giving any more people some second chances.
But I am going to try and be loyal to the individuals whom have helped me out througout the years. This is something in which I should not have done for a number of years.
I mean shot, I have an ego. Based upon my experiences, if I let someone walk on my toes, then they will be doing it again and again. For if you want to play hard ball, then I will be playing hard ball.
I have worked too hard and for too long just to fuck it up and do nothing.

My project

In this project I am working on, www.reporting-ethics.com, it is amazing at how many people are attempting to get involved. In one of the most recent involved a number of different requests. But this would have turned out to be a total waste of my time and efforts.
These individuals I knew from my college days. They were also involved with an extra-curricular event I was a memeber. This was as fellow senators on the Associate Students of Western Oregon State College (ASWOSC).
During my senate days or for a year and a half period, I was busy fighting a number of these people on a couple of different scams and etc. Sure none of these have been reported to the local police. But it was amazing at how many people were getting away with so much. It might have been because of their leadership.
These people were all over the age of 18 and should have known the difference from right and wrong. But they were able to get away with so much it was incredible.
I have even run into a number of these people in recent years. Most of them have not really changed all that much, if at all. So I will not be even considering giving these people associated a shot. If I did I would just be wasting my time and it would be even more headaches.

Before I joined the ASWOSC back in 09/85, I was really interested in making politics a career. So I entered the student government system and it was incredible at how much stuff they were getting away with what they were operating. I was even being told these same stories by a number of their and my friends. So what am I suppose to believe?
Then I learned due to these experiences, if it was this ugly on a collegiate level, then it will probably be this bad ten fold out in the real world. Thanks to it, I will never even attempt to try running for office. I do not need the headaches. The last thing I am also going to do is employ any of these losers.
I know there are a number of people whom are probably going to be reading this blog. I mean it has been posted and is made public accessible. I probably will be getting some additional headaches from the individuals whom were involved with these events. This is something in which during recent years I have already had to deal with. I usually just walked away from there retaliations. For I did not want to have to fight these losers. Especially due these events I would not even consider them.

Again, I have written this blog because I do not want to have to try and explain to the individuals whom will probably be reading it why I will not. For I have worked too hard and too long on this thing to give these former ASWOSC people the chance to fuck it up for me. They acted like this on a collegiate level, so I will not be expecting them to be changing any.
Now I am not saying every one associated were involved. It was just the bulk of the crowds. I am basing this on what I have experienced, stories I have heard from my and their friends and other events that happened.
I have been told the IRS and/or the feds have been reading my blogs and Web site, so I am not going to be listing any names. I guess they are doing this thanks to me working on this project for them. So they want to make sure I am staying in line with everything.
Anyone associated or whatever will not appreciate me doing it. But if I do nothing and say nothing, then they will be pressuring me to hire them to work on this project I have been working on for the past 5 or 6 years. Something in which would be a waste of my time and effort. For they are criminals and I do not need any more additional headaches.
The big reason why I left political office on a college level was the fact that these people, fellow senators and others involved stole money from the student body. I spoke up against these acts. In the process they I obviously pissed off a number of the members who participated.
But Western Oregon State College only being a small college, the whole student body learned what I did by 5:00 that night. On my side the football team provided me some protection. Thanks to it I had nothing to worry about.
It was amazing at who was all involved. But because of these experiences I have chosen not to get run for any more offices.

Our local economy

Winston had woken up with his eyes full of tears. Julia rolled sleepily against him, murmuring something that might have been "What's the matter?"
"I dreamt--" he began, and stopped short. It was too somplex to be put into words. There was the dream itself, and there was a memory connected with it that had swum inot his mind in the few seconds after waking.
He lay back with his eyes shut, still sodden in the atmosphere of the dream. It was a fast, luminous dream in which his whole life seemed to stretch out before him like a landscape on a summer evening after rain. It had all occurred inside the glass paperweight, but the surface of the glass was teh done of the sky, and inside the dome everything was flooded with clear sofe light in which one could see into interminable distances. The dream had also been comprehended by--indeed, in some sense it had consisted in --a gesture of the arm made by his mother, and made again thirty years later by the Jewish woman he had seen on teh news film, trying to shelter the small boy from the bullets, fefore the helicopters blew them both to pieces.
"Do you know," he said, "that until this moment I believed I had murdered my mother?"
"I didn't murder her. Not physically."
In the dream he had remembered the last glimpse of his mother, and witwhin a few moments of waking the cluster of small events surrounding it had all come back. It was a memory that he must have deliberately pushed out of his consciousness over many years. He was not certain of the date, but he could not have been less than ten years old, possibly twelve, when it had happened.
His father had disappeared some time earlier; how much earlier, he could not remember. He remembered better the rackety, uneasy circumstances o the time: the periodical panics about air raids and the sheltering in Tube stations, the piles of rubble everywherem, the unintelligible proclamations posted at street corners, the gangs of youths in shirts all the same color, the enormous queues outside the bakeries, the intermittent machine-gun fire in the distance--above all, the fact that there was never enough to eat. He remembered long afternoons spent with other boys in scrounging long afternoons spent with other boys in ther ribs of cabbage leaves, potato peelingm sometimes even scraps of stale breadcrust from which they carefully scrapped away the cinders: and also in waiting for the passing of trucks which traveled over a certain route and were known to carry cattle feed, and which, when they jolted over the bad patches in teh roadm, sometimes split a few fragments of oilcake.
When his father disappearedm, his mother did not show any surprise or any violent grief, but a sudden change came over her. She seemed to have become completely spiritless. IT was evident even to Winston that shw was waiting for something that she knew must happen. She did everything that was needed--cooked, washed, emended, made the bed, swept the floor, dusted the mantelpiece--always very slowly and with a curious lack of superfluous motion, like an artist's lay-figure moving of its own accord. Her large shapely body seemed to relapse naturally into stillness. For hours at a time she would sit almost

Building my retirement

I am now busy as ever working on my retirement. For when I get to that age that I can no longer remain employed, I do not anticipate being able to rely on the Social Insecurity Funds to be there to assist my in paying my bills.
Sure this account and/or program was created by the Rockefeller Republicans. It was done by a committee in 1936 that was on the Rockefeller and/or Standard Oil payroll. But still it was enacted into law during FDR terms of office, so there for the public think it was the workings of a bunch of liberals.
From what I have heard and read, John D Rockefeller did this in response to having to lay people off after working for one of his leomade stands. Then they would suffer because they failed to save enough to provide themselves a safety net.
By enacting this works of art, the federal government takes out a very small percentage of their hard earned incomes and invested it. Very similar to the way he speculated on many of the different petroleum and other future markets. Then they can cash in on it when these individuals finally do retire. But they would only receive the amount in which is based upon the percentage they made during their working days.

Business's in NW Portland

Each year I find it interesting watching business in the first couple of months struggle to stay in business. I know a lot of it depends upon location, location and location. But a lot of it also depends upon the basic business model.
Up here in the NW portland near 21st and 23rd, it was also effected, but not as much as I predicted. With those with a good business model closing their doors and moving down to thePearl District. It is there with the ever increasing population density, the condos spurting out of the ground, the increase number of condos a rising out of the ground and etc.
In the process stealing the market share of individuals who shopped on the 23rd, are now in the Pearl. I guess you can just call it competition.

Living up here in the NW Portland is in my opinion one of the best places in Portland to operate a small business. Here there are all of the amenities a small business owner needs in order to enjoy the successes of it's operation. These characteristics are: a dinse population, good public transportation and a increased number of living situations to be available for growth.

Up here in the NW Portland has often been noted as having the most dense population this side of the Mississippi River and north of San Fransico. All of this is thanks to all of the apartment buildings and condo minimum buildings growing up out of the ground.

These qualifications would probably apply more likely to the 21st and 23rd areas.
it was effected, but not as much as I predicted. With those with a good business model closing their doors and moving down to thePearl District. It is there with the ever increasing population density, the condos spurting out of the ground, the increase number of condos a rising out of the ground and etc.

This is in large part thanks to all of the Californian moving up here to the Portland Metro area. In the process creating a need for more dense population to save on the need for a majority of individuals who commute to work. Creating an environment in which with a need of a larger businesses.

In the process with the creation of places for individuals to live, there needs to be a good quality of public transportation. This is needed so the residences of these parts can be able to get to the necessary destinations. Because all ranges of tax brackets live in these parts and they need to be able to get around to all parts of the town.

With all of these qualities

Methamphetine abuse

The Web site and radio show, Reporting-Ethics.com was originally designed as a way to educate the audiences on different issues. The topics I am making reference to are the titles of each of the site's pages All are being backed up with the latest newspaper articles and links on these subjects.

A recent example was on a five part series of articles on the abuse of Methamphetamine. These were reports that appeared in The Sunday Oregonian. Each going into detail on the different aspects of the delima.

Governor Kulongoski noted in the article "Kulongoski urges board to OK rules against meth", in The Oregonian newspaper. He said, "Oregon ranks No. 1 in the nation in its rate of residents in methamphetamine-treatment programs. More than 500 meth labs have been found in Oregon this year, and meth use contributes to up to 85 percent of property and identity theft in the state". (The Oregonian, Oct 12, 04)

This campaign is over to restrict the buying and selling of two key ingredience used in Pseudoephedrine-based cold medicine. Where the two chemicals are used or cooked into the projuction of Meth. With home labs contributing an estimated 20% of the US production. While the rest is made by Super labs in California. These are then run by organized crime on a Mexican-based drug cartel, with chemicals bought by the bulk internationally or on the US whole sale market.

Then when the narcotics make it to the streets, they are marked up several times by the dealers. Getting the users hooked and creating some return business.

In order for these addicts to continue get what they are after, they usually result to different crimes. The two crimes that are primarily fueled by this abuse are fraud and forgeries.

Both of these are subjects the Web site www.reporting-ethics.com is a dressing. Some of these areas are terrorism, corporate scandals, the IRS, tax avoidance, intelligence, id theft, national debt, economics, most wanted and etc.

To combat this growing problem, there has been a number of states try different things. One in which has stumbled upon a good example is Oklahoma. This can be seen in an article found in The Sunday Oregonian dated 10/10/04, "Oklahoma Sees Positive Results of the Law Limiting the Sales of Cold Medicines." Where their state passed a bill making it a law which regulates the sales in Oklahoma of the key meth ingredient Pseudoephedrine.

The law reads: "it requires that retailers keep cold pills containing the decongestant behind the counter. It also limits the amount of cold pills a person can buy in a month and makes purchasers show a drive's license and sign a log. The law does not restrict liquid or gel cap forms of the cold medicine containing Pseudoephedine." (The Sunday Oregonian, 10/10/04)

The true effects of the bill only had a very small impact, shutting down small labs. But in the process, it has saved taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars. This was in the form of shutting down the small labs and clearing up the pollution problems.

To Reporting-Ethics.com, this is an area in which this site or service is going to address. Accept we are doing it by keeping our audiences on top of the different issues on-line and on the radio. It was this and probably all of the other drugs that are abused that this issue is arisen. Effecting directly or indirectly the different topics of this site. Some of these are terrorism, corporate scandals, the IRS, tax avoidance, fraud, the federal page, business, intelligence, id theft, national debt, economics, most wanted and etc.

I understand www.reporting-ethics.com is a very small service. But with the combination of the site and radio show it might help make a difference. Even if initially it only makes a dent in the problem, then it is a success.

www.Reporting-Ethics.com

I started creating this Web site www.reporting-ethics.com back in early 2000. I did it in response to a challenge I received from my IRS manager.

At the IRS, my job was to answer incoming tax phone calls, figure out the customer's specific question and direct it appropriately to be answered ASAP. The topics of their questions dealt with all types of tax questions. These ranged from the simple income tax questions to the more advanced capital gains or death tax questions.

In a conversation I had with my manager, she challenged me to figure out a way to turn this free and necessary service performed by the IRS and turn it into a profitable venture. She made the suggestions to air the conversations with the customers and the contact representatives on a radio show. Then to have create a Web site to back up these conversations.

With these suggestions and other assistance I received from the IRS, I have created this Web site. It consists of 20+ pages of different issues effecting the taxpayers. On each of these pages there are links to recent articles and other sites covering these topics. Their goal is to keep my audiences up to date on the latest news concerning each of these issues.

The contents of the radio show will primarily be the conversations aired between the Contact Representative of the IRS and the customers. This way there will be more who will gain from the information consulted than just the person on the phone.

The rest of the time will consist of interviews with different federal professionals who's jobs this site and show are going to be made easier. In the process providing my audiences with another way to learn what to do and not to do concerning the IRS policies and procedures. This is while they can learn from reading and listening to other's successes and failures.

I have created this blog in the hopes of gaining some additional feedback. This is why I am asking for any comments good or bad about my site. My e-mail address is lemay17@hotmail.com or there is another link at the bottom you can click to add any additional comments. This way I can learn from it and improve my site.

In future entries I will cover different issues effecting the NW Portland and are of concern of Reporting-Ethics. A good example is the series of articles in the The Oregonian concerning Meth use and abuse. In those, it covered a number of issues which Reporting-Ethics was written. Some of these topics are ID Theft, Most Wanted, tax avoidance, IRS, Fraud, and etc.
